Grow a Mommy Smile on a Special Day
Here’s a quick and easy gift idea that will make any Mommy smile, and still be achievable for even very young children. - Spend a little time brainstorming about a card greeting. Then have your child color the card with the personalized greeting. Of course for preschoolers, you will be doing the writing, but the colored picture means just as much to Mom. You can decorate with the card with the child’s picture, stickers, stars, glitter, etc.
- Take your child to a local garden center to pick out a small plant for Mom’s gift. A 4” plant size is inexpensive and easy for the child to work with. Ask for a plant care card to include (if available). This will help the Mom with a black thumb succeed.
- The child wraps floral foil around the plant, ties on a bow and attaches the card.
- Watch Mommy’s big smile when she gets her growing gift.
